About the Company:

Seamless Speciality Foods and Beverages Pvt. Ltd. is a reputed trading company engaged in sourcing and supplying Rice, Maize, Malt, and other allied products to distilleries and industrial clients across India and overseas. With a growing network of suppliers and mills, the company focuses on quality, consistency, and long-term partnerships. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Procurement and Purchase Head to lead our sourcing operations and strengthen our vendor base.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee end-to-end procurement and purchase operations for rice, maize, and malt across multiple states and regions.

* Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors, mills, and suppliers to ensure consistent quality and timely supply.

* Lead commercial negotiations to secure the most competitive prices and favorable terms.

* Establish and maintain long-term vendor relationships to ensure supply stability and business continuity.

* Monitor market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and seasonal variations to plan procurement strategies effectively.

* Coordinate with Sales and Logistics teams to align procurement schedules with client requirements.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, vendor agreements, and documentation standards.

* Regularly visit supplier locations to assess quality, capacity, and performance.

* Prepare procurement and purchase reports, supplier evaluations, and cost analysis for management review.

* Qualifications & Experience:

* Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Agriculture, or any related discipline.

* Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in the Agro Commodities / FMCG / Food Ingredients sector.

* Strong negotiation and analytical skills with proven experience in vendor management.

* Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership abilities.

Willingness to travel extensively across India for supplier visits and negotiations.
