Program Overview:

Throughout your experience as an Accelevation intern, you'll receive one-on-one mentorship and valuable opportunities to build your skills and confidence through meaningful, real-world projects that make an impact on the business.

In addition to your internship project assignment, you’ll participate in dedicated roundtable discussions with Accelevation executives and senior leaders, Lunch and Learn presentations delivered by various leaders on their respective areas of the business, and outings with your peers.

Upon successful completion of the internship, candidates may be considered for full-time opportunities with Accelevation following graduation.

The duration of this internship is May 25th, 2026 through August 14th, 2026.

Procurement Intern: Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for diving into relationships with suppliers, ensuring efficient inventory management, and driving cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain. This position will help teach negotiation skills and prioritization across cross functional objectives.

• Daily Tactical Responsibilities: Manage the placement of purchase orders (POs) in the ERP system. Update project management software on PO status.
• Manage order fulfillment: ensure OTD for production.
• Cost Justification and Competitive Analysis: Ensure cost justification and perform competitive analysis to secure the best deals.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Inventory Management: Oversee and optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, ensuring optimal inventory turnover and availability.
• Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify and implement strategies to reduce costs within the supply chain, including negotiating better terms with suppliers and optimizing sourcing strategies.

Qualifications:

• Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field at an accredited four-year university at the time of the internship.
• Completed at least two years of undergraduate study by the time of the internship.
• Innovative and curious self-starter with a desire to bring new ideas and make a meaningful impact.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and complete tasks with a sense of urgency.
