We are seeking an experienced International Procurement Officer to manage global sourcing and purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for negotiating with international suppliers, managing imports, and ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate international suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms
- Manage import/export documentation and compliance
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners
- Monitor global market trends and supplier performance
- Ensure timely delivery and quality standards
- Maintain procurement records and reports
- Develop long-term relationships with overseas suppliers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in international procurement or sourcing
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures
- Experience with international shipping and logistics
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software/ERP
- Excellent communication skills (English required)
Preferred Skills
- Experience dealing with international vendors (China, UAE, Europe, etc.)
- Knowledge of Incoterms and global trade compliance
- Strong analytical and cost-management skills
