The Procurement leader at Aramex is responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services. This role requires stakeholder influencing skills and a strategic approach to ensure that procurement activities align with organizational goals

Possess a strategic mindset, recommend consolidation opportunities to achieve overall better value.

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Effective management of contracts and timely renewals through a proper tender plan

Negotiate favorable terms and conditions, to avoid risks and resolve any issues related to supplier performance.

Establish relationships with key stakeholders, gather requirements, refine specifications, facilitate technical evaluations to obtain best value proposals

Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Ensure that procurement activities meet end user requirements, comply with organizational policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.

Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, performance, and savings to senior management.
Job Requirements - Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

4-5 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Strong understanding of procurement regulations and best practices.

Excellent analytical skills for evaluating supplier performance and market trends.

Proven experience in managing supplier relationships.

Strong background in contract negotiation and vendor management.

Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
