Procurement Manager

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

To lead procurement operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement of materials and services including subcontractor management, with strict adherence to technical standards and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with overall project requirements and timelines.
  • Forecast material requirements in coordination with planning and engineering teams.
  • Source and procure MEP equipment (e.g., chillers, pumps, cables) and Civil materials (e.g., steel, concrete, aggregates) ensuring technical compliance with specifications and authority standards.
  • Prepare and float RFQs/RFPs for materials and subcontract works, analyze technical and commercial offers, and prepare comparison sheets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard subcontractors for works such as HVAC, electrical, structural, finishing, and formwork.
  • Negotiate contract terms, conditions, pricing, and timelines with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Draft and issue Purchase Orders (POs), Letters of Intent (LOIs), and Subcontract Agreements with clearly defined scopes.
  • Manage delivery schedules and logistics to ensure timely material arrival and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure alignment with contract terms and project objectives.
  • Ensure documentation and procurement records comply with company policy and ISO standards.
  • Lead value engineering efforts and cost control initiatives to optimize project budgets.
  • Maintain and develop a robust supplier and subcontractor database with regular performance evaluations.
  • Lead a team of procurement professionals including buyers, engineers, and coordinators.
  • Utilize ERP systems ( MS Dynamics) for procurement workflows and reporting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED17,000.00 per month
