About the Role:
Collins Electric is seeking a proactive and strategic Procurement Manager to build and lead our Procurement Department. This position is responsible for all material, tool, vehicle, and equipment procurement, working closely with our estimating, operations, and warehouse teams.

What You'll Do:

• Manage all purchasing for the company—from large electrical/IT packages to equipment and tools.
• Negotiate with vendors and secure the best pricing, service, and value.
• Lead preconstruction procurement support and recommend bid pricing.
• Stay ahead of market fluctuations and proactively mitigate material risk.
• Supervise the Procurement Assistant and ensure process consistency.
• Own and improve procurement software, tools, and vendor processes.
• Represent Collins Electric in all procurement-related vendor relations.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in procurement is preferred, with 5+ years in construction or electrical industries being ideal but not required.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Excel.
• Experience with freight logistics, vendor management, and material escalation analysis.
• Collaborative mindset with leadership experience.
