Procurement Manager

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are looking to hire a Procurement Manager to be based in Riyadh, KSA that will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the procurement process to ensure efficient acquisition of goods and services. Also manage a team and work closely with various departments to streamline operations, drive cost savings, and maintain high quality standards in procurement activities. This role involves strategic planning, vendor management, compliance adherence, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services necessary for uninterrupted site operations.


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with projects objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of procurement plans to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Generate, review, and manage purchase orders (POs) in accordance with established guidelines and budgets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure favorable agreements
  • Implement and execute procurement strategies aligned with the site's operational requirements.
  • Adapt global procurement policies to suit the unique needs and challenges of the site.
  • Manage all procurement activities specific to the site, including sourcing and purchasing.
  • Ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services necessary for site operations.
  • Collaborate with finance to create procurement budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor spending, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and agreements.
  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to procurement policies and regulations.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for informed decision-making and management review.
  • Identify and address site-specific risks related to procurement operations.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Lead and manage the procurement team, fostering collaboration and technical understanding.
  • Provide guidance on procurement practices and delegate tasks effectively to achieve team objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related
  • Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) - Professional Purchaser (CPP) - Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) are plus
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, events, operations, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in procurement software/tools and MS Office suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement is best practices and compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
