Job Purpose

The Procurement Manager will lead the sourcing strategy for large-scale construction projects, managing an annual. This role is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain, from pre-bid estimation support to final site delivery and vendor settlement, ensuring all materials meet strict engineering specifications and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

  • Bulk Commodities: Negotiate long-term rate contracts (Annual Maintenance Contracts) for high-volume materials like Cement, RMC (Ready Mix Concrete), TMT Steel, and Bitumen.
  • Finishing & MEP: Source specialized materials including HVAC systems, electrical switchgear, plumbing fixtures, and high-end facade materials.
  • Equipment Rental: Manage the procurement and leasing of heavy machinery (Cranes, Batching Plants, Earthmovers).
  • Collaborate with the Estimation & Costing team during the tendering phase to provide accurate current market rates.
  • Analyze project drawings to identify "long-lead items" (items with 3–6 month delivery times) and initiate early procurement.
  • Value Engineering: Work with Site Engineers to identify alternative materials that offer the same performance at a lower cost.
  • Contract Drafting: Negotiate complex commercial terms, including Payment Terms, Liquidated Damages (LD), Performance Bank Guarantees (PBG), and Escalation Clauses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
