Procurement Manager


Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for MV metal-clad switchgear (withdrawable switchgear) components.

2. Identify, qualify, and manage local suppliers in Saudi Arabia, including supplier evaluation, price negotiation, and contract terms management.

3. Conduct cost analysis and price control, and continuously optimize the supply chain to improve cost efficiency and operational performance.

4. Coordinate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to align with project requirements and ensure on-time delivery.

5. Monitor procurement quality and ensure all sourced components comply with Saudi Arabian and relevant Middle East technical standards and regulations.


Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above,Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain Management major is preferred.

2. Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in the electrical or power equipment industry in Saudi Arabia. Experience with switchgear, MV metal-clad switchgear, or RMU (Ring Main Unit) is highly preferred; experience in other power distribution products is also acceptable.

3. Strong familiarity with local suppliers of electrical equipment components in Saudi Arabia, including sheet metal fabrication, copper busbars, and secondary electrical components

4. Solid experience in supplier development and negotiation, with strong capability in managing key contractual terms and commercial conditions.

5. Strong cost control mindset and high awareness of delivery efficiency and supply reliability.

6. Can use English as working language
