Procurement Manager

Job Summary

Mobco Group is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and manage procurement activities for a mega high-rise project in Makkah . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across all construction disciplines, including Civil, Architecture, MEP, and Infrastructure, with a strong background in managing large-scale procurement operations, vendor management, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage procurement activities for all project disciplines (Civil, Architectural, MEP, and Infrastructure)
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers and subcontractors
• Manage tendering process, including RFQs, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, and project teams to ensure procurement requirements are met
• Monitor procurement schedules to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and project specifications
• Manage procurement risks and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Supervise procurement engineers and procurement team members
• Prepare procurement reports and updates for senior management
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
• Ensure all procurement documentation is properly maintained and approved

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 15+ years of procurement experience in the construction industry
• Experience working on mega high-rise projects
• Strong knowledge of Civil, Architectural, and MEP procurement
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC region preferred
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and commercial awareness
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Makkah or Western Region projects
• Experience working with major contractors or mega developments
• Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers
• Proficiency in ERP and procurement systems
