Your Role in Our Mission
As a Procurement Manager, you will be the strategic owner of the procurement function at NEXT Ventures. You will lead a centralized team of sourcing and operations specialists to build a world-class procurement ecosystem. Your goal is to ensure that our global spending is cost-efficient, controlled, and aligned with our ambitious growth strategy.
You will be a key advisor to the Procurement Committee (PC), validating high value purchases, leading complex negotiations, and managing our global vendor governance. You are a "10x person"-someone who never settles, thinks deeper, and delivers results through grit and determination.
How You'll Make An Impact Procurement Strategy & Governance
- Define and execute procurement strategy that supports multi country operations, scalability, and cost discipline.
- Own procurement policies, SOPs, approval flows, and documentation standards-supported by a clear RACI and accountability.
- Act as the key procurement advisor for high value / high risk purchases, preparing structured recommendations for the Procurement Committee (PC).
- Run the procurement operating model and ensure smooth coordination between central procurement and regional admin teams.
Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Lead end to end sourcing: requirements intake, market mapping, vendor evaluation, RFQ/RFP execution, and award recommendations.
- Drive complex negotiations to secure strong pricing, SLAs, renewal protections, and commercially sound payment terms.
- Establish supplier performance governance through SLAs, scorecards, and regular business reviews to ensure consistent quality and value.
- Build long term supplier relationships that improve responsiveness, continuity, and operational resilience.
Procurement Operations, Compliance & Risk
- Oversee the full procurement cycle PR PO GRN/Delivery Invoice Payment with speed, accuracy, and audit ready paperwork.
- Strengthen compliance by ensuring every purchase aligns with internal controls, contracting standards, and required approvals.
- Proactively manage supplier and supply risks (continuity, delivery, commercial, reputational) through tighter controls and fallback options.
- Improve procurement workflows through better tooling, automation, and standardization to reduce manual effort and increase visibility.
Spend Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Run spend analysis to reduce maverick spend, consolidate vendors, and identify savings/value opportunities.
- Track and report procurement KPIs (savings delivered, cycle time, compliance rate, supplier performance, renewal risk, spend by category).
- Partner with Finance to align purchases with budgets, improve forecasting, and keep vendor payments timely and clean.
What You Bring
- 6+ years of hands on procurement experience covering strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations (PR PO GRN/Delivery Invoice Payment).
- Proven ability to lead high value negotiations and close commercially strong contracts (pricing, SLAs, renewals, risk clauses, payment terms).
- Strong grasp of procurement governance-policy discipline, approval controls, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Solid stakeholder management: able to partner confidently with Finance, Legal, Tech, and business teams and drive alignment without slowing things down.
- Analytical and data driven: strong Excel/Google Sheets skills with experience tracking spend, savings, compliance, and supplier performance.
- Leadership capability: can guide a small team, set clear KPIs, and build an efficient operating rhythm.
