Procurement Manager

10+ years, with a preference for F&B experience.Education:

F&B - Procurement Manager :

secures food, beverages, and supplies while balancing cost, quality, and vendor reliability. Key responsibilities include sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, managing inventory levels, ensuring consistent product quality, monitoring food costs to meet budget goals, and overseeing the purchasing logistics to support back-of-house operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supplier Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable pricing and reliable delivery, maintaining multiple options to ensure consistency.
  • Purchasing & Inventory Management: Oversee purchasing, including ordering food and non-food items based on par levels, tracking inventory levels, and managing storerooms to ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) rotation.
  • Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor procurement spending to align with budgetary constraints, analyze market trends to reduce costs, and optimize the supply chain for maximum efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all incoming food and beverages meet quality and safety standards, verifying compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Receiving & Record Keeping: Inspect deliveries for quality and quantity accuracy against purchase orders and invoices, managing inventory documentation and reconciliation.

Operational Duties

  • Demand Forecasting: Predicting future inventory needs based on menu changes and sales trends.
  • Risk Management: Developing strategies to handle product shortages and supply chain disruptions.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with chefs, kitchen managers, and accounting departments to align purchasing with operational and financial goals.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Food Cost Percentage: Keeping raw ingredient costs within target percentages.
  • Inventory Turnover Rate: Ensuring efficient stock rotation and minimizing waste.
  • Supplier Performance: Monitoring on-time delivery and product quality.

Pay: QAR4,500.00 - QAR6,500.00 per month
