Procurement Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and operational needs
• Manage vendor sourcing, evaluation, negotiations, and contract administration
• Ensure timely procurement of chemicals, equipment, spare parts, and services
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Optimize procurement costs while maintaining quality standards
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and finance teams for planning and budgeting
• Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations, company policies, and HSE standards
• Maintain procurement records, reports, and documentation
• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• 7–10 years of procurement experience
• Preferably from water treatment, utilities, or industrial sectors
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiations
• Familiarity with Qatar market suppliers and regulations
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
