Procurement Manager (Heavy Equipment)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with strong exposure to the Saudi market, particularly within automotive and heavy equipment companies. The ideal candidate must have manager-level experience, proven team leadership, and hands-on expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end procurement operations for auto and heavy equipment categories
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals
• Manage and mentor a procurement team (Team Lead / Manager level responsibility)
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local & international suppliers
• Strong coordination with vendors, logistics, finance, and operations teams
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, company policies, and contracts
• Monitor supplier performance, pricing trends, and market availability
• Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or delivery
• Prepare procurement reports and present insights to senior management

Required Experience & Skills

• 5- 8+ years of experience in procurement (Auto / Heavy Equipment industry mandatory)
• Saudi market experience is a MUST
• Previous experience as Team Lead / Procurement Manager
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Hands-on experience with ERP / procurement systems
• Excellent knowledge of local suppliers and market dynamics
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM) preferred
