Job Overview

We are looking for a Purchase Manager (Rate Enquiry) to handle vendor coordination, price negotiations, and procurement-related documentation. The role requires an individual with strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills who can manage end-to-end purchase operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage rate enquiry process from vendors/suppliers.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Negotiate competitive prices, credit terms, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare comparative statements, finalize purchase orders, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and vendor performance.
• Coordinate with internal departments for timely material procurement.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and agreements.
• Ensure cost optimization while maintaining quality standards.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes & rate enquiry methods.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze quotations and prepare cost comparisons.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Procurement MIS.
• Strong vendor management and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and procurement compliance.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in procurement, rate enquiry, or vendor development.
• Prior experience in the education/skill development industry will be an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹23,799.50 - ₹35,000.00 per month
