Procurement Officer

Job Role : - Procurement Officer

Job Location : - Al Ain Mills _ Ajman

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of quality materials and services.

Ø Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.

Ø -Purchase Orders: Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Ø Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure that adequate supplies are maintained without overstocking.

Ø Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all purchased materials meet required specifications and standards.

Ø Cost Control: Track and report on key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

Ø Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, supplier market conditions, and material availability.

Ø Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Ø Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to align procurement activities with company objectives.

Qualifications:

Ø Education: Minimum Diploma Level 4 in Procurement and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or Bachelor’s degree

Ø Experience: Minimum of 02 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food manufacturing industry

Ø Preference to Arabic Nationals
