Procurement Officer

The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, services, and equipment for our real estate and construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies and project timelines. Key Responsibilities • Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services based on project requirements • Review and process purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, and draft service agreements • Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of supplier quotations • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align procurement with project timelines • Track deliveries, verify invoices, and ensure materials meet quality and specification standards • Maintain and update supplier databases, material logs, and procurement records • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking • Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and taxation requirements • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships • Use ERP or procurement software to manage transactions and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field • 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the construction or real estate sector • Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and local supplier markets • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite • Familiarity with UAE procurement regulations and documentation standards • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
