Procurement Officer

Karachi, Pakistan

The International Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services from international suppliers. The role ensures timely availability of high-quality materials at the most competitive prices while maintaining compliance with company policies, international trade regulations, and ethical procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with international suppliers and vendors.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities, pricing trends, and cost-saving strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with overseas suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and import/export requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and cost analysis reports.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and inventory teams to align procurement with organizational needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably in an international context.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
