Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for all restaurant-related supplies including food ingredients, beverages, cleaning materials, and kitchen equipment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure best pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Evaluate vendor performance regularly and maintain an approved supplier list.
  • Coordinate closely with the restaurant management and kitchen team to identify procurement needs and forecast supply requirements.
  • Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the storekeeper to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers, alternative materials, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and company quality standards in all purchased goods.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and expense reports for management review.
  • Negotiate contracts and payment terms with vendors to optimize cost and cash flows

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage items, kitchen equipment, and restaurant operations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
