Procurement Officer

Procurement Officer We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services necessary for our projects, including the ability to conduct price comparisons to secure suitable prices without compromising quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local market, experience with relevant materials for pipeline construction, excellent Excel skills, and a minimum of 2-3 years of procurement experience.

Job Duties:

• Source, evaluate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services required for pipeline construction, maintenance, and operations.
• Procure specialized items such as valves, pipes, fittings, coatings, welding supplies, and safety equipment.
• Prepare RFQs/RFPs for materials, equipment, and service contracts.
• Analyze vendor quotations, prepare technical-commercial evaluations, and recommend awards. • Support contract drafting, execution, and compliance monitoring.
• Prepare procurement reports, expenditure summaries, and supplier performance analyses.
• Ensure accurate documentation of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery records.
