Job description

We are hiring for the post of Procurement Officer with relevant Experience in Procurement of Digital Meters.

  • Research and identify potential suppliers for required goods and services.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality standards, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain a preferred supplier list.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals.
  • Ensure contracts include clear terms regarding delivery schedules, payment terms, and quality standards.
  • Engage in contract renegotiations when necessary to accommodate changes in market conditions or company requirements.
  • Create and process purchase orders based on approved requisitions.
  • Ensure all purchase orders are accurate, complete, and comply with company policies.
  • Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliver
  • Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts and agreements.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Maintain detailed records of contract negotiations, approvals, and modifications.
  • Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Monitor and control procurement spending to stay within budgetary limits.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports, including cost-saving initiatives and budget forecasts.
  • Coordinate procurement activities with project managers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services for ongoing projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.

Experience:

2- 3 years of progressively responsible experience maintaining and controlling the responsibilities of procurement or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good analytical thinking skill
  • Knowledge of PC, MS Office, ERP Applications
  • Good knowledge in the implementation of polices & procedures
  • Good planning, organizing and integration skills.
  • Good teamwork skills.

Location: Sundar Estates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
