Job description:

The International Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services from international suppliers. The role ensures timely availability of high-quality materials at the most competitive prices while maintaining compliance with company policies, international trade regulations, and ethical procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with international suppliers and vendors.

Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities, pricing trends, and cost-saving strategies.

Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with overseas suppliers.

Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and import/export requirements.

Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and cost analysis reports.

Collaborate with finance, operations, and inventory teams to align procurement with organizational needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,

Proven experience in procurement, preferably in an international context.

Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in English
