• Must have experience in the agriculture and landscaping industry.
• Must have experience with SAP.
• The Procurement Officer in agriculture is responsible for sourcing and purchasing seeds, fertilizers, and equipment to meet production needs.
• They evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• The officer negotiates contracts to secure favorable terms while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• They also conduct market research to track pricing trends and manage inventory levels in coordination with production teams.
• Budget management is essential, as the officer monitors expenditures to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
• They prepare reports on procurement activities for management review.
• In addition, the officer promotes sustainability by assessing suppliers’ environmental practices.
• Collaboration with internal departments helps streamline purchasing processes and resolve supply chain issues.
