Job Title: Procurement Officer (Construction)

Job Summary:

The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing construction materials, equipment, and services within Qatar, ensuring compliance with local regulations, project requirements, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source local and international suppliers for construction materials and services
• Obtain and evaluate quotations in line with project specifications
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Prepare and issue Local Purchase Orders (LPOs)
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Ensure compliance with Qatar standards and project requirements
• Liaise with logistics teams for import procedures, customs clearance, and delivery
• Maintain relationships with approved vendors in Qatar
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid delays in project execution
• Keep accurate records of procurement activities and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma
• 3–5 years of experience in construction procurement (preferably in Qatar or GCC)
• Good knowledge of local suppliers and construction materials in Qatar
• Familiarity with Qatar import regulations and documentation is an advantage
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement systems

Pay: From QAR2,000.00 per month
