Procurement Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

ABANA Enterprises Group Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive to join our dynamic team. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for supporting the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services in alignment with company policies and objectives.

Duties/Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the procurement process by preparing and issuing purchase requests and purchase orders.
  • Maintain and update procurement databases and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ascertain procurement needs and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Participate in cost analysis and market research to identify best sourcing options.
  • Support the resolution of any procurement discrepancies or issues.

Requirements


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Knowledge of procurement procedures and compliance standards.
