Procurement Officer

Role Overview

SPEC Gulf Refineries is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage our supply chain operations in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to support our refinery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Purchasing: Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers; manage the end-to-end procurement process for technical and non-technical requirements.
• Negotiation: Secure competitive pricing and favorable terms without compromising on quality or safety standards.
• Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and build a robust database of new suppliers.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, UAE local regulations, and industry standards.
• Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the logistics and warehouse teams to monitor stock levels and anticipate future needs.

Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Manufacturing sectors.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Odoo).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Location: Ability to be based full-time at our Sharjah facility.
