Procurement engineer or Senior Quantity Surveyor

XAD Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and commercially driven Procurement Engineer / Senior Quantity Surveyor with proven expertise in Costing & Estimation, strong UAE market knowledge, and hands-on experience in Telecom, ICT, and ELV systems.
This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in tendering, commercial management, and project cost control within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive tender submissions, including cost estimates, BOQs, technical schedules, and commercial proposals
• Review and analyze tender documents such as drawings, scope of work, and technical specifications
• Develop preliminary designs and costings for Design & Build projects
• Source, negotiate, and evaluate quotations from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Provide ongoing contractual and commercial support to project teams
• Manage EOT claims, variation orders (VO), progress billing, and final account settlements

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience in the construction industry (preferably with Electrical Contractors)
• Strong exposure to tendering, estimation, and procurement processes
• In-depth technical knowledge of Electrical, ELV, and ICT systems
• Commercially aware with strong analytical and negotiation skills

Education & Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage
