Procurement Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory and Procurement Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing store operations, and facilitating procurement processes. He must possess strong analytical skills, be proficient in inventory management software, and be willing to work in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

· Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.

· Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

· Coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock as needed.

· Implement inventory control measures to minimize loss and maximize efficiency.

Store Operations:

· Oversee day-to-day store operations, including receiving, storing, and organizing inventory.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store.

· Supervise store staff and provide training as needed.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Procurement:

· Assist in the procurement process by sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating contracts.

· Place orders for inventory and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt.

· Work closely with other departments to understand their inventory needs and fulfill requirements accordingly.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.

· Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and procurement activities.

· Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.

Software Proficiency:

· Proficient in inventory management software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).

· Ability to navigate and utilize software features for inventory tracking, reporting, and analysis.

Qualifications:

Intermediate or Bachelors
1-2 Years Relevant Experience

Salary Range: 30,000 to 45,000
