Procurement Officer

We are a young shipping management company that is looking for a purchasing officer with knowledge of marine procurement for running of the vessels smoothly. The job requirement is as follows:

• Knowledge of the vendors and supliers in the industry
• Supplier management
• Issues tracking
• Health and safety regulations.
• Develop a Purchase to Pay Cycle
• Ability to maintain quality standards.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
• Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
• Knowledge of shipping methods and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers.
• Support in drafting commercial aspects of purchase and service contracts for the company.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager.

Full time opportunity. Probation 3 months.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month

Experience:

• Marine/Shipping company: 1 year (Required)
