Senior Procurement Officer

Job Purpose:

The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process within a centralized function, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials, machinery, and services at the best value for all group companies. This role focuses on strategic sourcing, cost optimization, vendor relationship management, and ensuring, that all purchases adhere to strict quality standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Management (Centralized Role)

Manage the full procurement cycle for raw materials (cement, aggregates, binders, minerals, rock), machinery spare parts, explosives for quarrying, and consumables for all business units.

2. Negotiation & Contract Management

• Negotiate long-term contracts (LTAs) and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure the best value for money, including favourable payment terms and delivery schedules.

3. Operational Coordination & Inventory Support

• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders (POs) via ERP systems (Oracle) ensuring accurate technical specifications.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all procured items meet strict technical specifications, quality standards (ISO), and safety requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with internal procurement policies, local regulations, and safety standards.

5. Reporting & Performance Analysis

• Prepare regular procurement reports, cost comparisons, and savings analysis for senior management.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations, monitoring Requirements

6. Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience in procurement, specifically in a centralized procurement setup for manufacturing, construction materials, or mining/quarrying.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction materials (aggregates, cement), industrial machinery maintenance parts, and international shipping/logistics.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
