Procurement Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Officer with a strong background in civil construction projects to manage site-level purchasing, inventory control, and workforce camp goods management.

Key Responsibilities

• Civil & Site Sourcing: Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle (RFQ issuance, commercial comparison, supplier negotiation, and PO creation) for civil engineering materials, structural elements, safety gear, and on-site utilities.
• Camp Goods & Facilities Purchasing: Oversee the continuous supply chain for worker accommodations. Source and buy food provisions/catering supplies, welfare items, cleaning/hygiene chemicals, bedding, laundry resources, and medical first-aid stock.
• Inventory & Stock Control: Maintain accurate inventory records for both the main construction store and the camp store. Implement strict FIFO/LIFO systems, conduct physical stock audits, minimize material wastage, and flag low-stock thresholds to prevent operational downtime.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Relations: Build and maintain an extensive database of reliable UAE-based suppliers. Negotiate competitive pricing, credit payment terms, and strict delivery timelines.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with site storekeepers, camp commanders, and transport dispatchers to ensure all incoming deliveries match the delivery notes (LPO verification), checking for damage or quantity discrepancies.
• ERP & Documentation: Ensure all purchasing and inventory transactions are accurately logged in the company ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or customized software). Match invoices with delivery notes and receipts for accounting approval.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience managing procurement for large labor accommodation camps / camp goods management is mandatory.
• Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of civil construction materials, site equipment consumables, and camp utility/facility management products. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP inventory systems.
• Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and budgeting capabilities. Excellent stress management skills to handle fast-paced project environments.

Salary and Benefits

• AED 3,000 to AED 3,500 per month + Benefits

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
