Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer with a strong background in CMEP (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sourcing, vendor management, and procurement processes within the construction or MEP sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers for MEP and construction materials
• Manage RFQs, obtain quotations, and conduct price negotiations
• Ensure materials comply with project specifications and industry standards
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain and update vendor database and conduct performance evaluations
• Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams for material requirements
• Monitor procurement budgets, costs, and records
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply-related issues
• Assist in tendering processes with pricing and supplier inputs

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement within construction, MEP, or fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of MEP materials and industry standards
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office (SAP knowledge is an advantage)
