Procurement Officer (Construction/ Engineering)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Officer located in Al Ain. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, overseeing procurement processes, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies. The role requires close collaboration with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project requirements within budget and timelines. The Procurement Officer will also analyze procurement data, monitor market trends, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Procurement and Purchasing processes
• Proficiency in managing Purchase Orders and expertise in Contract Negotiation
• Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to evaluate market trends and vendor performance
• Knowledge of construction or engineering procurement practices is preferred
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools is an advantage
