Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to support our purchasing operations. The successful candidate will assist with sourcing suppliers, managing purchase orders, maintaining records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and cost-effective procurement of materials and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery termsPrepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficientlyMaintain and update supplier information and procurement recordsMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to fulfil purchasing needsTrack orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and servicesLiaise with vendors to resolve discrepancies, delays, or issues in deliveryObtain and compare quotations for goods and servicesSupport contract administration and supplier relationship managementEnsure compliance with internal procurement policies and proceduresAssist in preparing procurement reports, budgets, and cost analyses
Requirements:
Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred2-3 years of experience in a procurement, purchasing, or administrative roleExperience with procurement software (e.g. ODOO,JIFFY, etc.) is an asset
Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of procurement and supply chain best practicesFamiliarity with inventory management and vendor management systemsWork Environment:warehouse office-based, supplier site visits if requiredMay involve occasional overtime to meet deadlines

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
