Procurement Officer Cum Driver

Job description:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Procurement Officer cum Driver to support our operations. The ideal candidate will handle both procurement tasks—purchasing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining inventory records—and transportation duties, including delivering goods, site visits, and running errands as needed. This is a hybrid role that requires efficiency, attention to detail, and excellent driving skills.

The role is essential in ensuring smooth project operations, timely procurement of materials, and safe transportation for company needs. You will work closely with project managers, site engineers, and suppliers to maintain stock levels and support daily logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Procure materials, tools, and equipment from suppliers at competitive prices
• Maintain accurate inventory and procurement records
• Follow up with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Plan and execute delivery routes safely and efficiently
• Assist in site visits and transport of materials as needed
• Ensure the company vehicle is well-maintained and fuel-efficient
• Coordinate with project teams to meet procurement and delivery requirements

Requirements:

• Valid UAE driving license with clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years experience in procurement or logistics
• Knowledge of material sourcing and supplier management
• Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
• Ability to manage both office procurement tasks and driving responsibilities
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently
