We are seeking a results-driven Procurement Officer with experience in the F&B/HoReCa sector to manage and optimize our sourcing and purchasing operations. The role involves ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality food, beverages, equipment, and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with company goals and budgets.
- Source, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts for food, beverage, equipment, consumables, and services.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering and replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, restaurant, and operations teams to forecast demand and plan purchases.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards, and local regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize vendor base.
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets and reports on purchase trends and supplier KPIs.
- Handle import documentation and liaise with logistics providers when applicable.
- Lead and mentor junior procurement or purchasing staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the F&B, hospitality, or HoReCa industry.
- Strong knowledge of food & beverage categories, kitchen equipment, and supplier networks.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office; ERP system experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
