Job Purpose:
The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, furniture, fixtures, finishes, and services required for interior design projects. The role ensures timely procurement at the best possible quality, cost, and terms, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify, source, and evaluate suppliers for materials, furniture, fixtures, joinery, and décor items.
- Ensure all purchases align with project specifications, design intent, and budget.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Develop and maintain an approved supplier/vendor database.
2. Purchase Management
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) in line with project schedules.
- Monitor order status, deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Coordinate with site/project teams to confirm material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Verify quality, quantity, and specifications of goods received before approving invoices.
3. Vendor & Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations (price, quality, delivery).
- Explore new vendors, materials, and products to support innovative design solutions.
4. Cost Control & Documentation
- Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement practices.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including quotations, POs, and supplier contracts.
- Provide regular reports on purchase status.
5. Compliance & Coordination
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for procurement.
- Work closely with designers, project managers, and finance to align procurement with project and company goals.
- Resolve any delivery or quality issues with suppliers promptly.

- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Interior Design, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in interior design, fit-out, joinery, or construction industry.
- Familiarity with local and international suppliers in the interior design field is an advantage.
- Knowledge of import/export documentation (for overseas sourcing) is desirable.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
