Procurement Officer – Joinery & Fit-out

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Procurement Officer with strong knowledge of joinery and fit-out materials to manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and cost control. The successful candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials and services, directly supporting our projects’ success.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and procure joinery and fit-out materials, tools, and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability.
• Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels in coordination with store and project teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project requirements.
• Track, manage, and report on procurement budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
• Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and alternative suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and project specifications.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in procurement, with a strong background in joinery and fit-out industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Good knowledge of materials such as timber, veneers, laminates, hardware, aluminum, glass, and finishing products.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
