About the Role

We’re looking for a Procurement Officer to join our team and take charge of sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing critical equipment, materials, and services for water and wastewater treatment projects. You’ll play a key role in ensuring procurement activities align with project timelines, budgets, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Source and evaluate suppliers for mechanical, electrical, civil, and chemical components.

· Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents.

· Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms.

· Manage purchase orders from initiation to delivery.

· Maintain supplier databases (pumps, valves, membranes, instruments, etc.).

· Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

· Coordinate with legal, finance, logistics, and project teams.

· Oversee shipping, import/export, and customs documentation.

· Track procurement progress and supplier performance.

· Identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

🎓 Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business, or related field.

· Certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or PMP are a plus.

💼 Experience:

· 3–5 years of experience in procurement within the water & wastewater, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.

· Familiarity with ERP or Tally software.

· Strong knowledge of treatment systems, materials, and technical specifications.

Skills

· Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

· Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

· Technical understanding of pumps, valves, piping, and instrumentation.

· Ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
