Procurement & Site Engineer (Male – Civil Engineering Background)

Job Description

We are seeking a Procurement & Site Engineer with a Civil Engineering background to oversee material procurement and conduct regular site visits. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in handling procurement processes within the construction or contracting sector and the ability to supervise site activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Duties:

• Source, negotiate, and purchase materials and services from suppliers.
• Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and related documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to the site.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain approved vendor lists.
• Work closely with CEO, project manager, and site teams to understand material requirements.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and project budgets.

Site Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor material delivery, quality, and usage.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and storekeepers for inventory tracking and material handling.
• Provide support in overseeing labor teams and subcontractors when required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
• Prepare site reports related to procurement and material status.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in procurement and site supervision in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of local market suppliers and procurement procedures.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software/tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Must be male, based in Abu Dhabi, and available for immediate joining.
