Procurement Specialist

Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Procurement Specialist for our client. This position is ideal for a data-driven professional looking to leverage analytics and strategic insights to enhance supplier diversity programs within a large organization. As a Procurement Specialist , you will develop and maintain reporting tools, analyze procurement trends, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure programs achieve measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced Excel models, Tableau dashboards, and data visualizations to monitor supplier diversity metrics.
• Analyze procurement trends to assess supplier diversity performance, identify gaps, and propose data-backed strategies for improvement.
• Track regulatory requirements and industry benchmarks to ensure compliance and alignment with best practices.
• Collaborate with procurement, legal, finance, and other internal teams to optimize supplier diversity participation.
• Lead supplier diversity events, manage operational logistics, and coordinate outreach efforts.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of supplier diversity programs using KPIs and recommend process enhancements.
• Generate actionable insights from large datasets to support decision-making and program improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier diversity analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
• Experience with Tableau or other data visualization/reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting large datasets and identifying trends.
• Experience leading supplier diversity or procurement-related initiatives preferred.
• Knowledge of utility, energy, or regulated industries is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage events and coordinate stakeholder engagement effectively.
