JOB SUMMARY
The Strategic Sourcing Director is responsible for ensuring the business operations and procurement functions are working optimally and are continuously reviewed for process improvements.
Manages staff and coordinate the development and operations of the procurement process in support of the organization and, specifically, in support of all procurements related to the implementation of the Small Business Development Program (SBDP).
Ensures quality control, perform evaluations, and monitor compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supervise, train and prepare procedures and guidelines for Procurement Support staff.
Organize and attend meetings with College Administration to obtain understanding of projects as assigned.
Responsible for development, management and compliance of Small Business Development Program and integration within the Procurement function.
Responsible for management of Departments’ Administrative Support Operations.
Responsible for management of vendor outreach, and Business Development and Training Initiatives in support of the Small Business Development Program.
Responsible for management of departmental records.
Responsible for management of Department’s policies and procedures ensuring both online and hard copy are up-to-date, consistent and compliant with applicable rules, regulations and laws.
Responsible for developing comprehensive goals, objectives and plans and ensuring compliance with the established Small Business Development Program annual goals.
Responsible for the planning, implementation and monitoring of vendor performance within the Small Business Development Program.
Responsible for managing working relationships with small business, community and civic group interactions with regard to the Small Business Development Program.
Responsible for report preparation and other administration tasks, as required by the Executive Director Procurement Operations. Assume the responsibilities of the Executive Director Procurement Operations, as needed or required.

General Office.
