What will you do?

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage the company’s purchasing activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and ensuring that purchases are made in a cost-effective and timely manner.

This role will report directly to the Chief Product Officer and will work closely with Fountain Life centers to oversee inventory management, enforce standardized procurement processes, and drive cost savings through better supplier negotiation and vendor management.

Responsibilities


  • Work with various departments and centers within the organization to understand their purchasing needs and ensure that requirements are met.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers and lead vendor negotiations, closing deals with optimal terms.
  • Leverage purchasing power by consolidating enterprise-wide needs and negotiating improved pricing.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels in partnership with centers to ensure accurate counts and timely resupply.
  • Enforce procurement processes across all purchasing activities to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Manage third-party labor contracts and assess external resource needs.
  • Generate purchase orders and ensure purchase order fulfillment.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns proactively.
  • Set up new vendors in accounting and payment systems.
  • Work with Accounts Payable to ensure proper documentation is received to process payments.
  • Track and report key procurement metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.


What do you need to succeed?


  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to create reports, business correspondence and procedures, and effectively communicate and present information
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external partners
  • Intermediate computer skills (Proficiency in MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, management, finance, or other related discipline
  • Previous experience in purchasing or contract management, or a similar job function

The pay range for this role is:

110,000 - 110,000 USD per year(Lake Nona HQ)
