Role Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Handle procurement of IT hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment, peripherals, etc.) and licensed software.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with IT vendors, OEMs, distributors, and resellers.
  • Manage vendor contracts, renewals, license compliances, and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).
  • Compare quotations, evaluate technical & commercial proposals, and finalize procurement orders.
  • Coordinate with IT, Finance, and other departments to understand requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain procurement records, track budgets, and prepare MIS reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, IT standards, and data security requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure best pricing and service levels.
  • Support IT asset lifecycle management (procurement, renewals, replacements, and disposals).
  • Keep up-to-date with IT market trends, new technologies, and vendor offerings.

Requirements and skills

Proven work experience as a Purchasing Specialist.

Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)

Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

Understanding of supply chain procedures

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Import Procurement or IT hardware products knowledge is an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
