Job Overview
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the delivery of materials, supplies, and services necessary for company operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely procurement while adhering to company policies and industry standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure high-quality products and competitive pricing.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors.
  • Issue purchase orders and monitor order progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor files, and inventory reports.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to assess procurement needs and timelines.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality or delivery.
  • Track and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, budgetary constraints, and relevant regulations.
  • Support periodic audits and assist in implementing process improvements.
  • Coordinate with finance and warehouse teams for invoice reconciliation and inventory tracking.

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Experience in vendor negotiation and managing supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems is advantageous.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple procurement tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with procurement tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
