Job Overview
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the delivery of materials, supplies, and services necessary for company operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely procurement while adhering to company policies and industry standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure high-quality products and competitive pricing.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors.
- Issue purchase orders and monitor order progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor files, and inventory reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to assess procurement needs and timelines.
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality or delivery.
- Track and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, budgetary constraints, and relevant regulations.
- Support periodic audits and assist in implementing process improvements.
- Coordinate with finance and warehouse teams for invoice reconciliation and inventory tracking.
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Experience in vendor negotiation and managing supplier relationships.
- Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems is advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with procurement tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
