Role Description

StoreMotion Retail Solutions is seeking a full-time Procurement Specialist for an on-site role located in Dubai. The Procurement Specialist will manage the end-to-end procurement process, which includes evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and preparing purchase orders. Key responsibilities include analyzing procurement needs, maintaining relationships with vendors, ensuring cost efficiency, and securing high-quality materials in line with company standards and timelines.

Main Responsibilities:

• Process material requisitions (MRs) from production based on approved project requirements.
• Update and verify MR pricing in line with supplier quotations and project budgets.
• Track material status from purchase to delivery at factory or project sites.
• Prepare, issue, and share purchase orders (POs with suppliers and internal teams).
• Schedule and coordinate material collections and deliveries.
• Coordinate with design, production, estimation, and project managers to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Prepare and submit payment requests to Finance and the CFO with complete documentation.
• Obtain MR and procurement approvals as per company policy.
• Arrange and manage material and finish samples for projects as requested by management or the Project Manager responsible.
• Coordinate machine maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms for special materials and subcontract works (e.g., metal fabrication, acrylic works, printing).
• Identify and implement suitable alternative materials to optimize cost and availability (e.g., alternatives to Blum linear guides from China).
• Maintain and upgrade supplier databases, including payment terms and performance records.
• Integrate and consolidate project procurement reports from spreadsheets for tracking and management review.
• Handle material procurement for project sites in line with schedules and specifications.
• Conduct supplier and subcontractor visits to ensure quality compliance and timely delivery.
• ·Analyzing procurement needs, maintaining relationships with vendors, ensuring cost efficiency, and securing high-quality materials in line with company standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management or any related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Retail Fit-Out industry
• Procurement certifications will be an added advantage
• Strong skills in Supplier Evaluation and building effective vendor relationships
• Experience in Contract Negotiation to achieve favorable terms for the company
• Excellent Analytical Skills for assessing procurement needs and market conditions
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Procurement practices and processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
