Procurement Specialist

Salary- $80,0000-90,000.00 per year

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong relationship capacities- Develops and maintains solid working relationships with key stakeholders and is seen as a trusted advisor and "go-to-person" on those matters.
  • Analytical skills- ability to use visuals (scorecards, models, reporting) to support recommendations on buying and procurement practices.
  • Reporting - skills and ability to track equipment issued to new hires, log serial #’s of major equipment, asset tagging, validate accurate invoicing from vendor, new purchase order equipment placements.
  • Digital – automation capabilities with sourcing and procurement platforms, Per Angusta (Paris Procurement), Concord, AmazonBusiness, Microsoft D365, FedEx, Dun & Bradstreet etc.
  • Customer service oriented - timely response, detail oriented and solid follow through
  • Ability to multi-task and meet high priority deadlines.
  • Risk Management- account for risks and compliance within procurement.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe skills a plus

Skills:

  • Strategic sourcing and supplier selection experience
  • Experience with using procurement methods and policies.
  • Experience using tools and data to manage and support customer success/initiatives.
  • Contract negotiation and management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate compliance metrics and process improvements.
  • Understanding of pricing models and commercial terms
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and policies

Key Accountabilities:

Strategy & Governance

  • Coordinates with accounting team to provide procurement and IT accruals, as part of month end close process
  • High level of expected collaboration across all locations and across entire division
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain highest level of company standards

Business Processes

  • Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential vendors and ensure competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, track orders, and manage vendor performance to ensure contract compliance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to optimize stock availability and reduce costs.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency.
  • Review and monitor procurement internal controls and required reporting.
  • Manage Amazon Business user access and spend.
  • Support entry of procurement and contract related materials in Per Angusta (Paris vendor validation system) and Concord (contract management system).
  • Daily interface with Recruiting team for new hire IT equipment needs.
  • Manage IT vendors directly related to New Hire IT equipment to include POs, invoice approval spend and required and follow up to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support location mobilization and de-mobilization procurement activities, as needed.
  • Other general procurement activities as assigned.
  • Occasional travel to site locations for training purposes may be required.
