Procurement Specialist

Location: Dubai, UAE
Experience: Minimum 4 years in Procurement
Preferred Background: Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
Industry: Technical Services / Facilities Management / MEP / Contracting

We are seeking a Procurement Officer with a solid understanding of the Dubai market and a proven track record in sourcing and supply chain management within the technical services sector. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and be well-versed in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services related to MEP, maintenance, and facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, spare parts, tools, and subcontracted services required for ongoing projects and maintenance contracts.
• Maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, ensuring best price, quality, and timely delivery.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time, and price.
• Coordinate with technical and project teams to forecast procurement needs and specifications.
• Prepare purchase orders, RFQs, and ensure proper documentation as per company policies and ISO standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of critical materials without overstocking.
• Stay updated with local market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities specific to the UAE region.
• Ensure compliance with UAE import/export regulations and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with accounts and logistics departments for seamless payment and delivery follow-ups.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent) – preferred
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in procurement, preferably in technical services or MEP contracting
• Good knowledge of local vendors, pricing structures, and supply chain processes in Dubai
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office
• Valid UAE Driving License – preferred

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
