Procurement Specialist (US-Based Construction)

AESOM is hiring a Procurement Specialist to support U.S.-based construction projects. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in U.S. market construction procurement, Excellent English Communication skills, material sourcing, vendor negotiation, and coordination with project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with reliable vendors and suppliers for construction materials.
• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders while ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams in the U.S. to meet project-specific requirements.
• Ensure all procurement processes comply with company policies and best practices.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, vendor details, and purchase histories.
• Identify and resolve procurement issues by coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare procurement reports and cost analyses for management review.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in procurement (construction industry preferred).
• Hands-on experience with U.S. construction market procurement (mandatory).
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to work during U.S. business hours (night shift).
