Day in the Life of a Procurement Supervisor

  • Supervise all procurement operations for the Crossroads Buy & Bill Program

  • Support the initial setup and ongoing supply needs of new center launches.

  • Develop, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts to ensure favorable terms and performance

  • Monitor budgets and implement cost-control measures to achieve financial targets.

  • Analyze supply and demand trends to optimize inventory levels and prevent shortages or excess.

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the procurement function.

  • Collaborates between logistic partners and clinics to support sourcing needs.

Operational Execution

  • Support the B&B handoff from B&B manager once clinical readiness has been established.

  • Work with vendors to ensure ordering thresholds are in line with REMS requirements.

  • Reinforce REMS requirements with identified support staff at each center.

  • Work directly with centers authorized ordering representatives to forecast, place, receive, and reconcile initial order.

  • Verify authorized ordering representatives are trained and fully understand the ordering/receiving process in place for their center.

  • Update changes to ordering/receiving representatives.

  • Approve/Deny and track initial PO per center set-up.

  • Reconcile inventory, delivery, and inspection with receivers within the EMR and/or manual order tracking log to verify compliance.

  • Maintain adequate quality control through internal weekly auditing process.

Ongoing Procurement Center Support

  • Work with legal/finance when needed on any Regulatory Compliance needs

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Policies & Procedures.

  • Identifies process and follows through on a site level audits.

  • Maintain a direct connection with clinic centers for ordering/reporting order issues.

  • Finance

    • Monitor and report budget/Cost Control analysis

    • Establish/maintain a well-organized invoice and payment processing system with each vendor

    • Maintain compliance with accounting standards

  • Support other responsibilities as needed by the Buy & Bill Manager.

Location

  • This position will mainly be a remote role with travel. Expectation of travel to Greenville, SC, headquarters and clinics as needed up to 25%.

Education and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of operations experience in healthcare.

  • Proven leadership experience and self-starter mentality.

  • Experience managing project budgets and financials.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
